I found the hotel to be a mix of ups and downs. The rooms were nice and clean, which was a big plus, but my initial room was very uncomfortable and disgusting, leading to a switch to a different room. The service, however, was top-notch with the staff being very friendly and accommodating. The location, though surrounded by parked trucks, was acceptable for visiting Yoho NP and Lake Louise, especially if you have a car. On the bright side, the hotel is only a short drive from the Golden town center.
